Project Manager

We are immediately seeking a Project Manager. The right candidate will have on-site project experience with a keen understanding of subcontractor relationships, scheduling, safety/risk mitigation, and quality control.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Aptitude for reading full project drawings; This position requires the ability to review all drawings and details to make sure the trades are building from these plans and specifications.

  • Must understand the time-sensitive nature of all construction projects and proactively push schedules and stack trade work for maximum efficiency.

  • Must coordinate delivery/installation of materials and manager layout to ensure accuracy.

  • Must hold daily meetings to review schedules, track progress, and address issues before they become problems with subcontractors.

  • Streamlines subcontractor work, without sacrificing quality; Develops plan of action to make up for delays.

  • Document all materials and equipment.

  • Apply standard project management tools – Submittals, Change Orders, RFIs etc.

  • Create and modify schedules in BuilderTrend.

  • Comfortable on active job sites, understands liability, will wear PPE as required.

  • Monitor project budgets

 

Skills, Experience, and Education

  • No less than 5 - years-experience working in construction field (provide references).

  • A degree or certificate in construction management is a plus

  • Professional appearance; Excellent communication skills; Strong knowledge of construction practices, means and methods.

  • Must have valid driver’s license; and own a vehicle in good working condition

  • Must be a legal citizen of the United States and fluent in English.

  • Computer literate; Capable of using basic office software (Word; Excel)

  • Excellent written and oral communication; Commands and gives respect.

  • Motivated leader; Capable of working independently and in teams.
